BidSwitch becomes TAG Certified Against Fraud

BidSwitch, a global programmatic trading infrastructure, with a long history of providing free fraud detection across its entire ecosystem of partners, today announced that it has been awarded the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) “Certified Against Fraud” Seal.

The TAG, Certified Against Fraud Program was created in order to help provide standards and guidelines for combating invalid traffic across the entire digital advertising supply chain. Only companies that are shown to abide by the Certified Against Fraud Guidelines receive the Certified Against Fraud Seal.

As part of the TAG audit process, BidSwitch has complimented its own proprietary technology which leverages extensive machine learning processes built up over 5 years of R&D, together with a number of the TAG program’s anti-fraud tools including TAG payment ID and the TAG PI Blacklists. BidSwitch’s proprietary fraud detection processes have also been certified to be MRC GIVT compliant.

Scott Neville, General Manager of BidSwitch stated that “BidSwitch has long been operating at the front-lines in combating ad fraud across the real-time bidding ecosystem. It is an area we have invested significant R&D and we are very proud to have always made this available to our partners for free. We believe our systems and process are some of the best in the industry and are very excited to work alongside TAG to help fight this battle at an industry level.”

As part of their ongoing efforts in this process, BidSwitch will also formally roll out their latest Mobile In-App fraud filtering update from May 1st, after an extensive beta testing period from the end of 2017.
